The Dynastar Legend Sultan 85 skis combine a wide, stable platform with deep sidecut and wood/titanal sandwich construction to deliver an unbelievable ski experience for passionate all-terrain skiers who want one no-compromise ski for groomers, crud and everything in between.

  • Core and Flex Pattern:Flexible, strong, lightweight wood core.
  • Construction:Vertical Sidewall Construction takes the wood core and adds Titanal for an optimum blend of fled and torsional rigidity, allowing for maximum versatility in ski design. Sandwich technology uses layers of fiber stacked with the core to create a ski with a balanced flex pattern.
  • Shape:Hailed as a brand new ski better than anything Lange has ever built before; the Sultan 85 features an all-mountain shape that allows it to be extremely versatile in all snow conditions.

          This is a GREAT all mountain ski! Holds at speed on cruisers, handles bumps well, plows though crud. Haven't been in deep powder with them yet and am guessing that that will be their weak spot, but hey...there's no such thing as a perfect all mountain ski. This one comes as close as any I've ever been on.

              I finally was able to get out on my new ski's, and am completely satisfied with my purchase. I never demo'ed these ski's, but based on the recommendations of the Dynastar reps at our local ski expo, I felt this ski was exactly what I was looking for in an advanced all-mountain ski. Their are several great design features that make this ski perfect for someone who is looking for an awesome all mountain ski (bumps, crud, powder, groomers): traditional ski design, fat tip and tail, tight turning radius.
              I am a former ski racer, and I wanted a ski that would be able to stand up to the demands of ripping down the groomers at the end of the day, and still be able to hold an edge without rolling over under foot. The ski also needed to be flexible enough to be able to with stand the abuse of skiing bumps, and stiff enough to plow throught the crud and tracked out powder, without the tip floating in the wind. This ski does it all! I could not be happier with my purchase!

                I've been skiing for over 45 years. As a former professional ski instructor, I highly recommend the Legend Sultan to anyone who wants to swing all over the mountain and feel like a kid again...! These skis are easy to manage and will go where ever you desire. Just point the tips down the hill and go dawging...woof woof woof!!!
