Dynastar Legend Pro XXL Skis 2010: The Dynastar Legend Pro XXL Skis are built just like a race stock Super G ski from Dynastar’s Race Room, but this big mountain destroyer has an insatiable appetite that can’t be curbed by corduroy. Featuring full vertical sidewalls, two layers of metal and a wood core, the Dynastar Legend Pro XXL is an oversized package you won’t want to miss.

  • Core and Flex Pattern:Durable mixed-wood core with an acrylic Rohacell stringer for added liveliness; 3D core construction mills the wood core and shaves weight from the tip and tail for a lighter ski with increased grip from the thicker edges
  • Construction:Titanal sandwich construction with 2 layers of metal shaped to match the milled wood core profile; Torsion box technology and Vertical Sidewall construction wraps fiber and extra Titanal around the wood core for torsional rigidity and maximum versatility
  • Shape:Big shape means ripping Super G turns, powder and crud alike, while maintaining stability at high speeds
  • Binding Compatibility:Requires a binding with a brake width between 110-125mm

        i was lucky to take these skis out over two days. the first day was icy and a lot of hard pack off-piste. these skis performed perfectly. never been on a ski this fat that held an edge so well. the second day, i was lucky to get them out on almost a foot of new. these skis owned it. pointing it down chutes, ripping through trees, or open faces, this ski handles them all well with stability. even when the snow turned cruddy at the end of the day, i could still charge confidently. great all around ski

        If I lived in whistler or Chamonix I would likely own these skis. They are just so good at skiing large terrain. They are stable, predictable and very solid at speeds. They blow through the crud and chop and still float quite well even though they are not a huge powder ski.

        Skiing at Alpental I still like a ski that is a little more nimble but in more open terrain this ski is one of my favorites. Also, get it on an open groomer and let it run, you will be very excited.

          This ski is the ultimate big mountain ski period! It is perfect for all situations. Got to use it the first time off piste in Alta and fell in love. Skis sweet! Feels super comfortable under boot. Nice smooth feel cross the pow and can cruise or cut in and get aggressive. Definately not for the average skier. This ski likes being told what to do and delivers major smiles! Big smiles!!!!

          If youre looking for a ski that you can just point it and not worry about what you ride over or into, then this is your ski!

          However, if you are looking for a fun, buttery, soft, POW ski, this is not the ski for you.
