      Comments about Dynastar Contact 4 X 4 Skis + PX12 Ti Bindings 2009:

me: 5'11" 160-165 lbs minus gear.
ski length: tested/owned 184cm (thanks EVO).
conditions this week ice with scraped sugar as the day wore on.
Don't be afraid to go long on these if you have skills in carving. The extra platform gives stability and you can still rip/carve fast shorter turns down super firm slopes. The turn radius is only 17m on the 184 and 16 on the 178. The metal keeps em damp and pointed where you want going fast over rougher sections as well as keeping them super quiet on edge. Very confidence inspiring ride.

              Comments about Dynastar Contact 4 X 4 Skis + PX12 Ti Bindings 2009:

Only skied one week so far on these. Conditions did not permit any trial in the fresh stuff so it was piste only. Smooth and grippy. Took me a while to find the zen centre for best driving balance after my lightweight and chuckable B3s. Very stable at speed, reminded me a little of a quicker turning version of the K2 Explorer. Looking forward to testing them in the fresh stuff off piste where I suspect they will be fine. Only disapointment was that one of the chromey Dynastar Decals fell off when I flicked off some snow whilst on the chairlift.

                Comments about Dynastar Contact 4 X 4 Skis + PX12 Ti Bindings 2009:

I am a 6'1", 212 lb, agressive skier; this is a solid, responsive ski with great feel and speed. When you roll this ski on an edge, it carves beautifully and holds the turn in all types of conditions. Skied at five different resorts in a variety of conditions, powder, groomed, bumps, off-piste, ran some gates and the 4 X 4 handles it all really well. Great ski for an All Mountain, one ski quiver. Fun and responsive with solid, confidence building control.

                Comments about Dynastar Contact 4 X 4 Skis + PX12 Ti Bindings 2009:

I love hard carving and these ski are great. Not quite the quickness or grip of SL Race Skis, but they were not designed for racing. These are the best skis I could find to fit the tight turns, stiff flex, side-cut, and all mountain design. I still prefer my SL Race skis for carving trenches, but you can't beat these for all mountain fun.
