Dynastar Contact 10 Skis + PX 12 Fluid Bindings 2009: The adaptability of the Dynastar Contact 10 skis will work for advancing intermediates looking for something to grow into, as well as expert skiers who dig the power and performance of a race ski but want more versatility for their on-piste shredding. Part of Dynastar’s overdrive series, the Contact 10s will bring you from zero to ripping in seconds. The PX 12 Fluid bindings provide smooth powerful energy transmission, control while turning, and rebound at the turn completion. This winter, tear up the groomers and flash turns of all shapes and sizes with the Dynastar Contact Skis + PX 12 Fluid bindings.

  • Extra wide tip provides more responsive turn initiation.
  • Oversized sidewalls provides excellent edge grip on hardpack, making for more precise and variable turn size.
  • Forgiving flex and generous side-cut allows for refined carving and excellent ski-ability
  • PX 12 Fluid Binding:The Full Drive Concept toe allows for multidirectional release for optimum protection when you take it to the next level and need to bail out. Lightweight composition provides precise transfer of pressure between boot and skis required for the expert performance of the Contact Skis. An AFC Plus anti-friction plate moves with the boot during release. DIN: 3.5-12

      awesome ski, sharp turns in the slalom, holds an edge, look great and awesome for all conditions. they are actually a bit lighter in color than in the pictures for a heads up

          These are the type of skis I have been looking for for a while now. They perform great, yet do not carry the hefty $$ of comparable Volkl AC40.
          I live and ski Colorado and was looking for a ski that will do well in moglus, power through crud, and have enough width to enjoy the powder days. This ski did exactly that. I do not ski groomers though I seriously doubt it would do bad on them :). On the few icy spots I ran into I was impressed how much edge it caught. The skis are easy to turn in, not as heavy compared to other demo skis I tried, and I like that I could adjust the bindings to fit my skiing style.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            Loved the skiis but having a little trouble with them in deeper powder and in crud-could be me though!
            Otherwise a nice quick ski and still no chatter ripping faster.

                Nice ski ,good edge hold, not a lot of snap out of the turn. I am an expert skier main uses for the skis to date are groomed hard pack expert runs. I am skiing a 184cm . I had to bevel the edges to make the ski more responsive. Tends to chatter at high speeds on really hard snow if you set a hard edge.

                  I just purchased these from Evo a month ago and finnaly got them out on the slope. So Dec in NE, 1 degrees and a little icy, and they ate it up. Really quieted the ride down from my old skis, gripped into the ice like an ice pick. I am really happy with these and look forward to next weekend. Now I just need to find some powder to see how they do.
