The tail shape allows the skier to carve through the turn or skid the tails if needed. This gives the skier complete control over the shape and finish of the turn.

        I have only gotten to use these skis three times so far this season, but they are great. They hug the curves and they carve into the groomed snow really well. Waiting for some fresh powder to try them again. I will probably own these skis for 5+ years so I am glad they are a good fit for my skiing abilities.

          These skis are excellent at everything they promise. For the intermediate skier they deliver great all-mountain performance with a solid and secure ride and continues to deliver when pushed a bit more on the steeps and bumps. I would guess there are better skis for the agressive skier carving it up at 60 mph, but if you want a great ski to chase your crew all over the blue and black runs that allows you to carve when you feel like it but also enjoy some runs tail sliding your turns down the hill then this ski won't let you down. Also, the NX11 Fluid bindings are very nice. Solid feel and the ability for a little higher din settings. The toe release seems much more advanced than my old bindings and have performed very well.
