Arguably the single most versatile touring ski ever built, the Dynafit Manaslu Women's Ski is the perfect match for the adventurous female ski tourist who skis it all and loves long days in the backcountry. With its early rise rocker and dual-radius sidecut, this ski performs like magic in any type of untracked snow and still holds an edge on steep and icy terrain. The Manaslu Women's Ski, with its lightweight Paulownia/Bamboo/Beech core and carbon reinforcement with Titanal inserts, strikes the ideal balance between lightness and performance.
Scoop Rocker Sometimes referred to as the "backcountry bend," this smooth and consistently increasing tip rocker floats like crazy without giving up any more edgehold than necessary. Dimensions are specific to each ski length.
Dual Radius Sidecut A wider radius at the tip gives stability at speed, while a sharper radius in the tail provides quick carving when the ski is put on edge. 31.9/17.4 @ 161, 33.5/19m @ 169
Tapered Tail A tapered ski tail makes slotting skis into backpack carry loops easier and lets the tips float a bit higher in deep snow.
Paulownia Superfly Core This core is a slightly softer flexing and more forgiving construction made of laminated Paulownia and Isocore.
Core Coating Quadraxial-Biaxial pre-preg guarantees maximal torsional stiffness and integrity of construction.
Sintered Graphite Base More durable, with improved gliding characteristics and better wax resorption
Skin Attachment Patented SpeedSkin attachment is built into the ski - it's light, secure, and easy to de-skin without removing your skis.

Comments about Dynafit Manaslu Skis - Women's 2014:
It all starts with the Manaslu's construction. Beech and bamboo stringer stiffen up this stick to a hardened attack piece. Edge hold can hardly do justice to this ski's zip-and-throw out of a well laid turn. Fiberglass and biaxial carbon reinforcement in upper and lower layers simply add to the flavor of this hardened weapon for the slopes. Not meant for the leisurely ride but for the work-out driven skier looking to get the legs burning. Bring a chair for this ski, because if you're not ready to push these bad-boys to their potential, they'll put you in it.
