Blizzard Viva Sport IQ Skis + IQ LT 10 Viva Bindings - Women's 2012: The Blizzard Viva Sport IQ has everything a beginner needs in their first set of skis. Starting with IQ sandwich composite sidewall construction the Blizzard Viva Sport has a soft and forgiving flex while being stiff side to side for reasonably strong edge hold. When combined with the integral composite core the Viva Sport IQ becomes a grippy, smooth and stable ski that gives you a comfortable learning platform. The Blizzard Viva Sport IQ is also a good choice for young teens transitioning from junior gear that know how to carve her turns. The Blizzard Viva Sport IQ is a very forgiving ski that is also quite responsive with good edge hold making it a perfect ski for helping beginners achieve proper carving technique and enjoy every trip to the slopes more than the one before.

      I don't have much to compare them to. I will update when I have some more experience, but for a beginner, they seem great. I feel stable on them and I feel like I have good control. I like that they are mostly black, with a little style on them.
