"Best Powderski of 2014" is certainly some high praise for this year's Blizzard Gunsmoke Skis. Winning multiple awards this year, it's no wonder why people are scrambling to get their hands on one of the hottest items to come out this year. A virtually 'do-anything' ski, the Blizzard Gunsmoke will rip the hardpack, destroy the powder, and slink through crazy tight trees. Really, what more could you ask for from a ski? The Gunsmoke has a more freestyle feel and features a full twin tip construction, so that you don't sacrifice trickability when you come across an irresistible lip or kicker. Rocker in the tip and tail make this ski a contender to be a quiver killer; if you want one ski to do it all, the Blizzard Gunsmoke would be a good place to start.
Flipcore 3D The Flipcore Natural rockered construction means that the ski is actually made upside-down in the mold so the downward-facing convex side forms the natural rocker, without having to bend or artificially shape the ski in a press.

Comments about Blizzard Gunsmoke Skis 2014:
27 Years old
Skis I have owned and loved:
Solomon Pocket rocket.
Atomic 9.18 carvers
Armada ARV 1st GEN (the black and white original ones.....)
K2 Public Enemy
I looked at every ski out there for a "One Ski Quiver" before the guys in the shop talked me into these. I finally got them out for the first time this last week and I was ABSOLUTELY blown away. Trust the hype and reviews these ski are all that and more! I had them mounted at the recommended line and was worried that they would be to much of a center mount. They look really forward but if you look at the rocker profile they are actually pretty traditional.
Now for how they ski:
Hard pack/Groomed: These things rail! Like your on train tracks! I haven't bought skis in 8 years and was really worried that they would be too wide to do well on the groomers. Amazed!!!they rail as well if not better then my Atomic 68mm waist groomer skis. The turn radius is pretty long so if you want to make shorter turns you need to release the tail or drive them into the turn pretty hard. They pretty much just want to get up on edge and fly! Which is my next point, these things feel super solid at speed. No flop at all from the rockered tips or tails what so ever, they were just a little squirly when skiing flat at moderate speeds but get them on edge and it totally disappears.
Again best thing since sliced bread. I was able to blast through the crud when I needed to, make short hop turns when it got steep, and open them up for some high speed action when I wanted to all with total trust that these had my back and would do exactly what I wanted them to do when I needed them to do it. Great for bombing or playing around.
I had the good fortune to make it up to Stevens pass right after a storm and got to try these out in about 30in of freshies. TONS of float. Never thought I would be able to just stand up and ski on a ski in powder with out leaning back to keep the tips from diving...not any more I couldnt get enough of the powder on these and even when it got cut up latter in the day I was still able to enjoy the powder because These would just plow through the powder ditches with out even noticing. Heavenly.
I would recommend these skis for someone that drives their skis. They were ok to relax on a little but they really responded and loved it when I drove them, it made them come alive and brought out the playfulness of the ski.
Again I cannot speak more highly of this ski or the shop staff at the EVO store especially Billy, who recognized the attributes of skis that I have skied on in the past and loved and recommending a perfect ski for me. Again just awesome cant wait to take them out again.
