The Blizzard Brahma Skis are new for 2014, and they fill the need for a hard snow focused ski in the Free Mountain Line. With 2.5 sheets of metal, the Brahma is a stiffer, narrower Bonafide. Do you live on the East Coast and worry that the Bonafide will be a bit too wide? Live out West and want a dedicated groomer ski? The Blizzard Brahma Skis are for you!
3D Tip-Tail Rocker Mild tip and tail rocker with camber underfoot for a balance of soft snow performance and strong edging and carving.
Flipcore 3D Technology Unlike most other companies, who start with a cambered core and "bend" it in the mold to create a rockered ski, Blizzard starts with a rockered core and components in the first place - everything goes into the press in the same shape as it comes out. Sound like marketing BS? Sure, except for the fact the the Flipcore skis have received almost universal praise from experts in their short time on the market. Maybe Blizzard is onto something here . . .
CNC 3D Poplar-Bamboo-Paulownia Isocore Woodcore with Titanium
Spaceframe 3D 2.5 titanal laminate layers with strategic cutouts provides optimum swing weight, balanced flex, improved torsional transmission and reduced vibrations over the whole ski.
Sandwich Compound Sidewall (Ti)
Strong Graphite Base
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Comments about Blizzard Brahma Skis 2014:
I'm 6'1", 180 lbs. and a moderately aggressive skier. My current quiver is Volkl Bridge 187, Bent Chetler 192, Atomic Automatic 193. I love all my skis, but wanted something that could carve better, was narrower under boot, shorter for skied out moguls, and could still have no speed limit. I think this is that ski (180 cm). It skied very sold through choppy crud and railed groomers. Very quick to turn and very stable at high speed. Very quick side to side. The only down side is I did give them a shot in 8" of heavy fresh powder and they really struggled. Either the tips dove or the back seat locked--neither of which was good. But, that's why I have powder skis. Overall a great ski that is stable and poppy at the same time.
