Atomic Smoke Skis + XTO 10 Bindings 2012

The Atomic Smoke Skis + XTO 10 Bindings are the perfect introduction to the all-mountain skiing experience. This ski will improve your skiing on groomers and open up new trails for you to explore. With Adaptive Rocker on your side, the possibilities are endless on the Atomic Smoke Skis. Take the next step, rocker is now for the whole family, which includes you.
Shape
The Adaptive Rocker profile delivers easy and forgiving handling when the skis are flat on the slope or when skidding turns. Edged up it delivers exceptional edge hold and grip with the full effective edge length. The sidecut has an easy, but versatile turn radius.
Construction
The Step Down Sidewall provides edge hold under foot with easy turn initiation and forgiveness in the tip and tail.
Bindings
The Atomic Smoke Skis are integrated with the XTO 10 Bindings to eliminate the dead spot created under foot. This allows for a more complete edge hold and smoother flow throughout the entire turn.
Included Bindings
Bindings do not come mounted to the skis. Always have a certified technician mount and adjust the bindings.
Core and Flex Pattern
Cap fiber construction means the Atomic Smoke Skis are easy to turn and forgiving. With sidewall underfoot, the Smoke is able to be soft in the tip and tail and still hold an edge.

            Let me start off this review saying that I've been skiing since I could walk. I've been using very fast austrian skis forever and love the speed and thrill of thrashing down the mountain. However, in the US there is this liberal safety concern of "going too fast" This is why I bought these skis.

            They are a beginner/intermediate ski, but don't let that marketing lingo fool you. On the boots of an experienced skiier, you can slow down a bit and enjoy some effortless carving at a medium pace!

            The bottom line is I got these skis to make my life easier on the slopes and have lots of fun without getting into trouble.

            I wouldn't recommend going too fast on these skis as they have a lot of bite in cornering.

                  Used in fresh pow of Wyoming's high country! Performed wonderfully on both groomers and deep fluff! 5'8" 200# and floats like a butterfly on these! Easy to turn and stop, but most fun for bombing strait and fast! Binding system is a breeze to set up anf is solid as a rock!

                        great ski. worked well on ice was excellent on the groomed trails and rode well in chopped up powder. havent had a chance to do bumps yet not much snow where ive been skiing so only groomed and light overnight stuff. hope to get to northern vermont for some bumps.
