Man, these skis are pretty great. For starters, this is a review of the 2014 model skis, which I think the only thing has changed on the 2015s is they took away the totally awesome graphics.

As a skier, I'm 5 11, about 240 all geared up, and before these skis I was an advanced beginer (coming back into skiing after about 10 years) who would tear up the greens, but be timid on the blues.

These things had me confidently attacking the blues and even attemping a few of the groomed and obsticale free blacks. I have to give some credit to just skiing a shorter ski (157 vs the 170cm I was using), but the rocker on these things combined with the wide SW construction underfoot just instill confidence all day.

These things are no carving skis, but they're perfectly fine on the groomers all the way. Venture off trail and they are great too.

Not a true powder ski for someone like me (as I found out after I sank into a 4 foot powder hole), but the bindings can be set back some which should help. It would have been nice if they had an even 90mm underfoot, which would probably help alittle bit. I do need to lose about 25-30 pounds personally, so hopefully these things will be much more floaty next season.

The one thing I really don't like about these skis is the durability. After only one day, I had a few chips in the topsheet and inside sidewalls neear the tip and tail were getting absolutely chewed up.

Now, I know it isn't the skis fault that I am clumsy and sometimes brush my pole tip across my skis and clatter my tips and tails, but some more durability sould have been nice considering the price of the skis. I would have liked to see some tip and tail protectors too. I worked some majic and now have some tip-tail protection and inside sidewall protection, but I should not have to do that just so my skis last more than a season.

Why is it the cheaper skis are all protected and will last forever, but the more expensive ones are super fragile? (Well, I'll tell you why, so they don't last as long which means you buy more skis)

Overall great skis. Can't wait to get out on them again, be it that may have to wait until next season. I wish the weather here in Southern Utah was not super warm and the peak of the season pretty much over. I'll probably get out some some late season runs if the resort lowers prices since half the runs will be closed.

These are light and have a lot of pop. Lots of fun to ride. My only complaint is that the top sheet is very flimsy. The first time I rode them there were chunks peeling off. It didn't affect the use of the ski, but makes it look pretty dingy. I contacted Atomic about the issue and never got any response.

Very Fun Ski

Comments about Atomic Panic Skis 2015:

I ski primarily woods and bumps in Vermont (think Mad River Glen) with my kids, so I needed a quick ski that's pretty versatile. These skis, particularly at this price point, are just what I was looking for. I demoed four other pairs (Blizzard Brahma, Dynastar Mtn Cham, Line Sick Day, Nordica Soul Rider), and was fired up to find these. I'm 5'7'' and about 145, and the 173s were a bit long at first but by the second day they felt right. My second favorite was the Soul Rider. That's a super fun ski, but coming off of ten year old short and narrow skis, and given that I only ski the east, they were just a little too wide for my taste.

Awesome Atomic Panic skis, a great all rounder

Comments about Atomic Panic Skis 2015:

The Atomic Panic 2015 wood core ski has been the best new ski for me. It is a great balance for me on a mono ski as it is slightly firmer than my last ski (also purchased through evo, the K2 Impact), but is still soft enough to be forgiving in tough snow conditions such as crud and ice. I think the wood core is great as with a Mono ski, I am less likely to bend the ski during loading and unloading.
What more can I say other than I enjoyed skiing the last of the North American Ski season and will look forward to skiing the Australian ski season on it. I think it will be a pleasure to ski no matter whet the Aussie ski season throws at us.
This one is a good all rounder. I love it

Lightweight ski. Good overall. But cheap build. The topsheet protective layer has already started coming off after first couple of days of skiing. But otherwise good ski for the price.

I use these primarily in Minnesota on groomers, but I head out West every year as well. They are obviously not powder skis, but still handled the mountain well the day we got almost 2 feet if snow. Super fun and responsive skis.

Comments about Atomic Panic Skis 2015:

I have the 2014 model, and like it. Used it all last year, and worked well for me. They do stratch on the top near the edges, but that does not affect their ability to ski. The most annoying thing about all twin tips is loading them onto a crowded gondola, they have to be seperated in the bins.

Comments about Atomic Panic Skis 2015:

Went in on my first new pair of skis in about a decade. I'd heard twin tips were a lot of fun, and I wasn't disappointed when I chose this pair. Effortless turning and great grip are the key takeaways from these -- they really do rock any conditions. That said, at 181, things could get a bit gnarly in moguls and trees (I had to practically relearn skiing glades this season!), but I suppose that's more a reflection the length and not the ski.
