Comments about Atomic Coax Skis 2010:

I got this ski early last spring, and immediately fell in love with it. As a former racer I've been waiting for a ski that handled and railed like my GS boards yet ripped in pow and gnarly conditions. The Coax is it. I used this ski in Big Mountain competitions, and used it in deep pow, and on icy days. If you want one ski to do it all this is it. It'll rail GS turns on ice, and plow through crud and chop like no other. It still skis well in pow, and is very easy to handle, quite forgiving, yet stiff enough I've never felt it chatter at high speeds.

I love this ski, there's a reason it's the favorite and personal choice of many Atomic reps as well.

I'm 5'8" and ~160lbs and female, and had the 183cm length.

Comments about Atomic Coax Skis 2010:

My Stats5'9"135lbsExpert Skier183cm CoaxWell today I started off with my least favorite ski. This was the only ski without rocker, it was 183cm, and the conditions weren't the best early in the morning, but I still didn't like the Coax. It was horrible at short turns if they were possible, not stable, very unforgiving and inspired a lack of confidence. I didn't want to push it on this ski. They did ok in larger turns. Also the ski doesn't float very well. For this ski, I skied my test runs in opposite order. Two thumbs down.In it's category, I'd recommend the Volkl Katana, or the Blizzard The Answer.I reviewed several other skis at the demo. [@]
