The Armada TSTw Skis are the ultimate all mountain, all condition ski and ready for everything from deep pow to corduroy. The TSTw provides the perfect combination of durability and performance for endless fun all winter long. Armada engineered the ideal amount of tip rocker to make sure you can float the light stuff, while giving you a traditionally cambered ski underfoot to make sure you can hold an edge. A portion of the proceeds of each ski go towards the Travis Steeger Memorial Fund.
EST All Mountain Rocker – Tip rocker with positive camber under foot and no tail rocker. Promotes flotation in the soft snow while giving the ski great drive and edge hold on the hard pack.
Flex Pattern - Tip: 6, Waist: 7, Tail: 6.5 (1=soft; 10=stiff)
Tapered Tip – Tip width is narrower than width at contact point
Dimensions (tip/contact point/waist/tail) – 116/129/99/120 mm (156), 117/130/100/121 mm (165), 118/131/101/122 mm (174)
Hybrid UltraLight Core – Laminated lightweight wood core with pre-installed ABS layers laid alongside, directly under foot.
Laminate Matrix – Deliberate directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity and allows each ski's flex to be precisely tuned. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex; Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski; Tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski.
CK Stringer – Carbon Kevlar combo stringers lie on top of the laminate matrix along the tail to brace the ski. This increases the landing platform, especially when weight is distributed farther back in the ski than intended. It also gives the ski more pop and extends ski life.
AR50 Sidewall Construction – ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced edgehold and significantly lower swing and overall weight.
50/50 Base – A blend of speed and durability, this base is faster than Armada’s S7 base but more rugged than the Comp series.
1.7 Impact Edge – The edge height and width is deliberately smaller and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness to increase durability and decrease weight.
Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
