Armada ARVw Skis - Women's 2010: Armada pioneered the women-specific park ski. For the 2010 season, they’ve taken the same design philosophy into the women-specific all-mountain market. That means a ski that takes seriously the idea of women who rip in any environment. The ARVw maintains all the design benefits of the ARV, but it’s built around the lightest core available. The ARVw responds equally well to a lighter touch in deeper snow and hard-pack.
- Core and Flex Pattern:Ultra Light Core: Sustainable wood creates the lightest core available. The combination of hard-to-find, high-density, and low-weight woods eliminates unwanted weight while providing an exceptionally smooth ride. Forgiving and responsive.
- Construction:ABS: Provides unequaled edge hold, core protection, and added stability. 2.5 Impact Edge: This edge exists for one reason – it’s durable. Designed to resist breaking and tearing out from rocks, rails and another abuse it might meet. 50/50 Base: This die-cut blend of two base materials is common ground. It is faster than S7, but it doesn’t require the maintenance of the Comp Series base
- Shape:Mid-fat with standard taper to perform well all over the mountain
- Binding Compatibility:Requires brake width of at least 90mm
