Comments about 4FRNT YLE Skis 2014:

I use the 177 for playful days in bounds and when I plan to hit features in the backcountry. The 187 is an all mountain beast, loves deep days and going fast. Both skis are super fun to ski in all conditions. I have even shredded the 177 in the park a bit, it's small enough to play around yet fat enough to keep you floating on pow days. I weigh 165lbs and and 5'11''.

Comments about 4FRNT YLE Skis 2014:

The YLE is the ski from 4FRNT that fits my skiing style the most. I like that the shape is symmetrical. It makes for a really fun playful ski, whether its charging deep pow or popping of rollers. The ski is mounted a bit back from true center so it still really quick for how wide it is. It turns with ease in the trees and tight technical lines. If questioning the sizes for, you could go either way. If you want something a bit more playful and easy to throw around go for the 177, it's still stable at speeds when put on edge and it's foot print will provide enough float. The 187 would be ideal for someone looking for a ski to charge on with playful characteristics

Comments about 4FRNT YLE Skis 2014:

I am 5'8'' and 145 lbs. and rode the 4FRNT YLE 187 cm. I like to ski off the main runs in pow...either opens bowls or trees. Normally I ride a K2 Hellbent/Seths or Salomon Rocker2 122. This is fun ski. It turns in the pow when and pretty nimble. I only wish it was deeper that day we rode them. On the groomers back to the lift you had work them on the ice and pay attention to what you were doing. If you are looking for a fun pow ski, this one is great.

Great ski for powder and jibbing around the mountain. Handles groomers well too. This is my second pair of these skis because why change if nothing is wrong? I use these skis for ski patrol to backcountry days to dropping cliffs at the resort.
