Product Info

4FRNT EHP (Eric Hjoreifson) Skis 2010: The 4FRNT EHP is designed with the same concept of reverse camber, reverse side-cut skis, but still incorporates a traditional ski design to provide a more versatile, stable platform in all types of snow. The long gradual tip and tail shape gives the ski great flotation in powder and enables you to wash, plane and scrub your turns creating a surf like sensation. The EHP also has a shorter running surface, increasing responsiveness and turning ease on hard pack. Pow, hard pack, crud… If Eric Hjoreifson can do it, his ski can too.

Other Features

Core and Flex Pattern – The Hi-Lite Core is made from a hearty but super lightweight wood to still give you float and flex in the pow but enough strength and stability to shred hard and drop cliffs without worrying about coming up with half a ski.

Construction – The X4 Dampening System is a full perimeter layer of elastometric rubber foil laminated between the metal edge, fiberglass and wood core. The X4 system creates unmatched stability and a smooth ride, especially at high speeds. The Q45 Weave offers a 45 degree layering of glass fibers to make the skis longitudinally and torsionally stiff. The Q45 allows skis to respond well to variable snow conditions, high speeds and hard riding.

Shape – Wide underfoot to give ample float in the pow while still keeping enough sidecut to rip the groomers. The tail shape was designed to maximize performance in powder snow while the pintail shape sinks into the snow allowing a more forward mounting position giving the EHP a much more responsive, centered and balanced feel.

Binding Compatibility – Requires a wide break (at least 110mm)
