        I wanted lighter poles, so I tried carbon fiber. Turned out I missed the rigidity of steel, so I gave these a shot (they were on clearance). They're as light as my carbon fiber poles but considerably more rigid, making them great all around.

            Even with no snow here in the Northwest these poles have handled great! Last year they were lots of fun in the powder and this year they performing with shockingly good grace on the ice and cascade concrete. Great poles.
