    These are great poles I bought them in retail and got ripped off but they are good. The grip system is great and they are really light. The only downside is that they bent a little bit but I do park also so I guess that can be expected.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      The Tartan's grips are very comfortable. The aluminum is pretty standard, but lightweight. I like the grommets in the straps for locking them up with the skis, unfortunately necessary at some resorts. They have held up well for the past two ski seasons, no bends, minimum scratches. Primarily bought them for the design…I liked the traditional Scottish plaid. Have the red plaid with flat black.
