Comments about Life Link Carbon Pro Adjustable Ski Poles 2012:

I have been using these, telemarking at the resort. Poles seem to be fine. Never had the locking mechanism slip, yet it's easy to unlock to adjust length of poles. Mechanism hasn't "frozen" in the cold either.

I did a tour on Tuesday, adjusting the poles a lot during a one hour skin up. No problems, no slippage of locking system.
