        When looking for a new pair of ski poles, I didn't initially think in terms of poles having superior/inferior designs, more along the lines of aesthetics. After considering several overpriced offerings during a visit to Park City over Spring Break, I went online with the objective of getting a better price. EVO and one other site had some really unique poles. I eventually settled on these Komperdell C2 Carbon Powerlock Ski Poles. When they arrived I was very impressed with the construction, features, and overall appearance. The novel features are: super lightweight material; adjustable length; and adjustable straps (unusual locking mechanism).
