      Comments about K2 V8 Ski Poles 2010:

these poles are surprisingly strong albeit very thin. I picked them up to replace a pair of 4front poles that broke for what i believe was no real reason. I put the V8s through the ringer and they are still going strong.

      Comments about K2 V8 Ski Poles 2010:

I am an expert skier that skis at least 2x a week.

I used to think poles are just poles, but these things are super light weight and strong. I am a bigger guy and I can plant hard on them without worry of failure.

They are thin and flex nicely with the energy focused at the basket end. They actually remind me of my Sage flyrod in the way they distribute the energy of each plant.

I would like the baskets to be a little bigger, but that is just nit-picking. The grips have a nice feel and the high vis straps come in handy when you dump in the deep.

I hope these don't get stolen or run over as I plan on them being my last pair of ski poles ever.

        Comments about K2 V8 Ski Poles 2010:

These poles are great. I've already put 25 days on these poles this season and have zero complaints! I ski mostly at Alpental/Summit Central and they've performed great on double blacks (upper nash), powder days, crud days, moguls and everything in between. They're super light and have just the right amount of flex, but they're still stiff enough to help my fat *** get up after a good ol fashioned face plant (I'm 6' tall, and pushing 190lb this season)!

          Comments about K2 V8 Ski Poles 2010:

Great pole, the composite technology is extremely durable and lightweight. The grips are sleek and comfortable, great for park or just all around riding. In fact, today I fell and rolled on top of them and bent them almost 90 degrees and there was no damage whatsoever.

Great poles...lightweight, good strap and durable. But the green is very bright and there is some purple too that's bright as well.
