      I bought these poles for my son. They are a nice tool. I switched over to carbon fiber poles a couple of years ago myself and really like the additional stiffness and vibration damping vs aluminum poles.

      So, when it came time to get my son his own equipment, I looked for an inexpensive carbon fiber pole that would look good with the K2 Ranger skis I bought from EVO. These K2 V12 poles fit the bill. They are strong and vibration free with a nice grip and easy entry straps. They also came with two sets of baskets. Smaller ones for groomed snow and a larger set of powder baskets. A nice bonus.

          Just got out to the slopes for the past two weekends and was able to use these poles and couldn't have been happier. Lightweight but still very strong. Just enough flash for someone like myself with the touches of bright orange and the graphics. A few small scratches after some pretty heavy use, but nothing out of the ordinary. Can't say one bad thing about this pole!
