Comments about evo BC Powerlock Ski Poles 2012:

Great set of standard poles which provide everything I am after. I do look at other poles from more well known makes such as black diamond with envy, but when trying to find negatives in the Evo poles I am at a loss. Not the flashes gear on the mountain but it gets the job done and they have not let me down yet.

Comments about evo BC Powerlock Ski Poles 2012:

First pair only lasted three outings before i shattered a lower section. Was simply skining on a sidehill section and a small slip put the ski edge in contact w/ my pole and adios. Lower section could really benefit from some sort of protective sheath. Being a standup shop, EVO hooked me up w/ a new pair but 1st outing w/ those and one of the baskets fell off skinning up to to top of Alpy on well consolidated spring snow.

Comments about evo BC Powerlock Ski Poles 2012:

I'm not particularly rough with poles. I moved over to carbon, adjustable poles several years ago and have gone through numerous pairs mainly due to losing them in powder and carelessness (theft).

I had some trouble stepping into my binding the other day, and tapped the my boot with one of these poles. I didn't strike it too hard, but I heard a "snap" and upon closer inspection, saw the entire lower portion had splintered.

I had this pair just around a month, and I'm already having to replace them. I'd suggest buying another brand.

Comments about evo BC Powerlock Ski Poles 2012:

These are great poles specially if you buy them online. Being able to expand makes it a lot easier to buy over the internet since you dont have to worry about the length. They are very durable and light weight.
