the baskets broke on my first day of skiing.
the hand straps come undone easily.

other than that, serves the basic function well - you don't expect much of a ski pole, do you?

Comments about evo Northback Ski Poles 2012:

The poles are lightweight and fit my hands well. However, the baskets were terribly fragile and began cracking and chipping away during my first run. Throughout the remainder of my day, the baskets cracked away, leaving nothing but a plastic ring.

Also, the wrist straps continually came undone, which is a bit of a hassle.

          The poles themselves worked fine.

Bought these for my 13 year old son. One green basket disappeared during our first run the other was broken by the end of the day. We will try some Black Diamond baskets on them next weekend. Also will need to glue the straps down to keep them from releasing from the buckles.
