These are plain old ski poles. They get the job done! The baskets WILL BREAK. Plan on buying replacement baskets. Otherwise, the poles themselves are fine and have lasted through a season of abuse with no problems. Baskets don't cost much, just buy these poles and you'll be happy.

The poles are lightweight and fit my hands well. However, the baskets were terribly fragile and began cracking and chipping away during my first run. Throughout the remainder of my day, the baskets cracked away, leaving nothing but a plastic ring. Also, the wrist straps continually came undone, which is a bit of a hassle. The poles themselves worked fine.

I used these poles about 3-4 times when I noticed the basket had broken off. They may have been defective, they may just be poorly made. I really can't tell.

Decent poles at low cost
By Coach Mike
Inexpensive model, but great for kids! Especially good way to make sure you reach the free shipping necessary spend - who doesn't need an extra set of poles?
Great Poles For...Well...Cheap!!!

You truly can't beat it for the money!!
Super Light Killer Poles

Not so good poles

Use for snow skiing. Baskets came unscrewed while skiing.

Poles are not as important to me as i barely use them so these affordable and light weight poles were perfect. however within the first few hours of using them the plastic part around the bottom broke off but that could be from my poor ski skills

Bought these for my son for an out West trip. By 11AM the first day, 1 basket was missing. By the end of the first day, both baskets were missing. Although the price was good, the piece for keeping the baskets on the poles were obviously defective.
Broke the first time I used them

I love evo and recommend this site to all my friends, but one of these poles broke the first time I used it. I'm not an overly aggressive skier but one of the poles hit ice and the tip actually broke and the basket remained intact.
Honestly, I would not recomend

I really love Evo, but these poles are not well made. The connection point where the baskets screw on the poles is horribly engineered. The fit, is not tight. The basket slips past the last thread and when pressure is applied the basket falls off. I purchased 2 pairs, all four poles lost their baskets in the first weekend skiing.

Good poles, light, baskets can be removed (threaded). Only wish the straps were fixed below the pole holder and not above as you have to watch how you grab them for the strap not to pull...then again I dont really use the straps while skiing. Would buy again. Very good poles for the price.
Lost both baskets the first day.

Might want to check that the baskets are tight before using.
Such a bargain!

The price of these ski poles can't be beat. They are just a bit heavier than my carbon/composite/whatever-it-is poles, but at a third of the price, I'll take it! I also like the style. The pole is slim, and the graphics are understated. I have not had them long enough to speak to the durability.

Just a good set of poles. Nothing fancy, but why should they be - they're ski poles.
Great starter poles
Great inexpensive poles. They are a little heavy, but not heavier than any other starter poles out there. Can't beat the price and I love Evo!

Great pole for the money. Nothing overly fancy, just a great pole for a great price.
Great and good looking poles!
does the job

does the job just fine
Good, but don't lose your baskets!
All I need in a pole, except that the baskets come unscrewed easily and I lost one the first time out.
Just as expected!
Super great price, fast shipping, just as expected!

Basic is all you need.

Perfect for when you just need a pair of basic poles and don't want to spend a lot on two pieces of aluminum. It doesn't matter how great or bad of a skier you are. A set of poles is a set of poles. I tend to thrash mine anyway so these do just fine. Btw, a set of quality replacement baskets is about 5$ installed on the mountain where I ski. So I wouldn't let basket quality sway you into buying super fancy poles.

I ordered these as a back-up pair of poles. Used them twice, held up fine. For the price, it's a nice extra set to have around.
theyre good poles, just one of the baskets fell off after the 2nd use, so replaced it and it otherwise works well.:)
Can't beat the price.

There good for the price

These Poles are very strong you can hit them at trees and make quick cuts with them. This is why they are great for tree skiing. Only problem is that I had to search for the basket a few times because it became untwisted and fell off mid run.
They get the job done

These poles are good for beginners. They aren't super sturdy or shock absorbent, but they get the job done and the price is what attracted me.
By Santa Claus Helper
The baskets broke on the first use and the ski pole shaft was weak.
