The poles are lightweight and fit my hands well. However, the baskets were terribly fragile and began cracking and chipping away during my first run. Throughout the remainder of my day, the baskets cracked away, leaving nothing but a plastic ring.

Also, the wrist straps continually came undone, which is a bit of a hassle.

The poles themselves worked fine.

These are plain old ski poles. They get the job done! The baskets WILL BREAK. Plan on buying replacement baskets. Otherwise, the poles themselves are fine and have lasted through a season of abuse with no problems. Baskets don't cost much, just buy these poles and you'll be happy.

Poles are not as important to me as i barely use them so these affordable and light weight poles were perfect. however within the first few hours of using them the plastic part around the bottom broke off but that could be from my poor ski skills

I used these poles about 3-4 times when I noticed the basket had broken off. They may have been defective, they may just be poorly made. I really can't tell.

theyre good poles, just one of the baskets fell off after the 2nd use, so replaced it and it otherwise works well.:)

I have used these the whole season and they are still in great condition! Haven't brooke or lost a basket!

I bought these poles for my kids who grow out of poles on a yearly basis. They are just what the Dr. ordered. I am an expert skier that has used aluminum poles my entire skiing life and these poles deliver exactly what my more expensive poles deliver...great skiing experience.

One odd thing is that the baskets screw on instead of snap on and we have lost a couple during the season.

I used the skis a good deal this past season just skiing for fun and I was happy about my purchase. They were very affordable and fulfilled there purpose. However the basket on one pole broke after a couple times skiing, but there was an extra pair included so it was replaced easily.

These poles are absolutely useless. They broke on the very first run. First the tip came off on one side and my wife was ok with that. On the 2nd or 3 run the plate on the opposite pole fell off going up the lift, we didn't even bother looking for it. We ended up having to rent a pair.

I, like everyone else, was looking for some cheap poles to go with my new skis. A pole is a pole, right? Unfortunately, one of my baskets and my fiance's baskets broke off within the first two runs on a nice groomed path. Cheap isn't worth it if it breaks this easily :-/

I bought these poles because my poles from the 80's finally bent and were useless. I am not too picky about poles but these have worked great so far! I've used them about 6 times in varied terrain and haven't had any problems!

The baskets tend to unscrew easily. Lost one the second day I used them. But they were on sale for under $20. You get what you pay for.

The poles are lightweights and have a great grip. However the first time I used them one of the baskets cracked. By the third time I used them it completely broke off.

It worked well on my last days on the mountain. Lightweight and sturdy. My only complain is that the straps are a bit too small.

I did not understand the quality of the baskets. They break the first day.

Interestingly, we bought 3 sets. One of the sets came with an additional sturdy set of green baskets, terrain park designed. We could not really figure out why, but those baskets are a lot better. All the poles should have come with that and the whole issue of basket weakness would be solved.

These poles have stood up to alot of conditions. I am not an aggressive skier, but I do ski every weekend I can and I have had many slope days on these with no issues whatsoever.

We ski in Michigan, where the hills aren't huge. We want equipment that will hold up on numerous short runs and we are totally impressed with these skis.

The baskets both broke off the first day I used these poles. When I called customer service to find out about a replacement the rep said that these poles always break and he doesn't understand why even sell them. He was helpful and exchanged them for a better pair but these are a joke!
