The Black Diamond Carbon Whippet Adjustable Ski Pole is an evolution of the original all aluminum Whippet. Now in three sections for improved packability, it features carbon fiber middle and lower sections. The Whippet is a ski-mountaineering standard and works going uphill (paired with an ice axe) as well as a self-arrest tool.
