Rocker Type
Extended Low Profile (ELP) Full Rocker – Gives the skier all the benefits of added maneuverability in soft snow while also delivering smooth, graceful arcs on groomed terrain. By matching the flex and sidecut with the full rocker (long, gradual bend from tip to tail) profile, the skier gains full, uninterrupted edge contact. The more you put the ski on edge, the more effective the edge becomes. The resulting smoothness and predictability is truly uncanny.
Core
Full Sensor Woodcore xtraLIGHT – Created in a complex CNC milling process, the Extended Sensorwood Core is ‘extended’ upward and lengthwise, milled to form the chambers of the Dual XTD Transmission construction. Xtralight wood cores are created using lighter weight Paulownia material, along with channels milled out of the bottom of the core. Snappy and resilient, these hight tech wood cores save weight while improving performance.
Laminates
Powered by Titanium – Above and below the Core, there is a layer of titanium reinforcing the ski and adding power and stability. The thin yet extremely strong aluminium alloy extends its unparalleled dampening properties particularly at high speeds.
Powered by Aramid – Aramid is used at the tip and tail to replace the Titanal belt. The material is lighter yet provides comparable shock absorption for the exposed zones of the ski – the perfect use for a material so effective at absorbing energy that it is used in bulletproof vests. The fiber structure of Aramid also gives the wider tip and tail zones of the ski greater torsional stability, which contributes to better edge grip.
Powered by Carbon – Carbon is found in the binding area.
Sidewalls
XTD Transmission Sidewall Construction – Engineered in the binding area using hollow carbon shells. The highly rigid carbon is lightweight but delivers more direct edge grip in the binding area – right in the area where the greatest pressure is applied.

Carving For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

Rocker Rocker (also called reverse-camber) is just as it sounds – camber turned upside down. Rocker skis have a side profile with a smooth downward curvature and a contact point at the middle of the ski. Rocker skis excel in deep powder. This profile provides the skis with less tip and tail hang up to prevent from catching edges and allows the skis to initiate turns extremely quickly. This profile doesn’t perform as well in icy conditions or on harder snow but if you spend lots of time in deep, untracked snow and like a more playful ski, Rocker is a great choice.
