The Völkl RTM 84 Skis + Marker Wide Ride 12 Demo Bindings are a kickass combination for the advanced skier who rocks the groomed but still needs flotation for charging the chop and backside. Völkl's Extended Low Profile (ELP) rocker provides just the right combination of smoothness and rock solid edgehold, taking you everywhere on the mountain with confidence, and a layer of metal in the build makes the ride silky smooth. Go straight to the market leader in this segment with the Völkl RTM 84 and don't look back.
Rocker Type
Extended Low Profile (ELP) Full Rocker gives the skier all the benefits of added maneuverability in soft snow while also delivering smooth, graceful arcs on groomed terrain. By matching the flex and sidecut with the full rocker (long, gradual bend from tip to tail) profile, the skier gains full, uninterrupted edge contact. The more you put the ski on edge, the more effective the edge becomes. The resulting smoothness and predictability is truly uncanny.
Core
Extended Sensorwood Core - Created in a complex CNC milling process, the Extended Sensorwood Core is ‘extended’ upward and lengthwise, and milled to form the chambers of the Dual XTD Transmission construction. The material is a blend of poplar and beech woods, and is found in Völkl’s highest performing models.
Laminates
Powered by Titanium - The top-of-the-line models in the Völkl Alpine ski range boast a special wood core tuning system - all powered by titanium. Above and below the XTD Sensor Wood Core or XTD Wood Core, there is a layer of titanium reinforcing the ski and adding power and stability. The thin yet extremely strong titanium alloy extends its unparalleled dampening properties particularly at high speeds.
Sidewalls
Dual XTD Tranmission Sidewall - XTD Transmission Sidewall construction features reinforcement channels aligned to support the outside of the ski, over the sidewalls and edges. This works to prevent chatter and provide a stable ride throughout the turn, regardless of snow conditions.
Additional Features
This is a used product that does not carry a warranty. See conditions guide up above for further explanation of condition.
Included Bindings
Includes Marker Wide Ride 12.0 Demo Bindings - These bindings have a wide range of adjustability and must be adjusted prior to use.
Demo Bindings Come Mounted to Skis - Always have a certified binding technician adjust your bindings.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Carving
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
    Carving
For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
Rocker (also called reverse-camber) is just as it sounds – camber turned upside down. Rocker skis have a side profile with a smooth downward curvature and a contact point at the middle of the ski. Rocker skis excel in deep powder. This profile provides the skis with less tip and tail hang up to prevent from catching edges and allows the skis to initiate turns extremely quickly. This profile doesn’t perform as well in icy conditions or on harder snow but if you spend lots of time in deep, untracked snow and like a more playful ski, Rocker is a great choice.
  • Turning Radius: Medium
  • Core/Laminates: Metal, Wood
  • Tail Type: Partial Twin Tip
    Partial Twin Tip
Partial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.
