By matching the flex and sidecut with the full rocker (long, gradual bend from tip to tail) profile, the skier gains full, uninterrupted edge contact. The more you put the ski on edge, the more effective the edge becomes. The resulting smoothness and predictability is truly uncanny.

The Extended (XTD) Wood Core – More forgiving than the Extended Sensorwood Core, it consists of a full-length wood core sitting beneath the Extended Double Grip chambers.

Double Grip – Double Grip consists of raising the height of the construction above the edge, creating added support for the edge, and in turn, better edge grip. The unique Motion iPT interface allowed Volkl engineers to further develop their signature Double Grip construction, creating Extended Double Grip. The added height extends from tip to tail, placing more material where it’s needed - in support of the edges.
