Salomon X Wing Fury Skis + Tyrolia SP 120 Demo Bindings lead the X-Wing all-mountain series for Salomon. The XW Fury Ski is labeled “the best all-mountain ski ever made.” Improved immensely from its previous model, the Salomon XW Fury Ski is the weapon of choice for all-mountain skiing versatility and performance. Combining elements to carve on groomers and float on powder, the versatile skier has it made.
Rocker Type
3D Stealth Tip - Gives the tip of the skis a lower shaped shovel with a flat contact angle towards the snow to allow the ski to roll over terrain variations and reduce high-speed vibrations.
Full Wood Core - Tip to tail wood core offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound maximizes ski/snow contact and filters vibrations. The Salomon XW Fury Skis also feature wider edges for increased durability and imported shock resistance without sacrificing flex.
Double Ti Laminate - On-piste performance, increased precision, enormous edge grip and a responsive skiing experience.
Pulse Pad - An elastomer layer along the front of the ski and edge for better shock absorption and anti-vibration for smoother and softer ski/snow contact.
P-Tex 4000 Base - Very high molecular density base perfect for gliding and provides excellent wax absorption and great abrasion resistance.
Full width total edge reinforcement

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for skis offering skiers lots of edge hold, especially on harder snow. A cambered ski has a smooth arch underfoot and contact points near the tip and tail when unweighted. Camber skis excel at carving on hard snow; you won’t ever see a ski racer on anything other than cambered skis.
  • Turning Radius: Medium
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
