    Comments about Salomon Q-Lux Jr Skis + L7 Bindings - Girl's 2014:

My 12 Year Old Daughter received these skis as one of her Christmas presents from her dad and I this year. She just passed beginner and moved to intermediate skier. She loves them and handles them well. We took her to the hills a couple days after Christmas and the pro shop installed the bindings onto the rails that came standard with the skis, very nice and easy for her to click in and out of. The conditions on the hills were pretty bad as we had experienced some rain and warmer temps followed by cold and the hills were icy combined with man made powder they were adding, she skied wonderful on these skis, control on the turns and was able to control her speed, no wipe outs (big deal to us as she has only been out of a cast 5 weeks after a broken wrist from soccer). This ski is Very easy for her to manage during transit, she skis on the school team and travels on a bus to the resort and must carry all her gear, lightweight both skis, poles and boots. We again purchased the salomon poles and followed with Salomon boots in the Quest line. Great boots, only a 3 buckle but nice support and really comfortable. We did not expect to spend so much on a boot she will grow out of in a season but have found it was well worth the investment. We traveled with several of her friends all were skiing and every one of them came in after a few hours to take off their boots and warm there toes and rub their sore feet. Everyone except our daughter, she stayed in her ski boots for the entire double session well into the evening and could have kept right on. Warm and ultra comfortable, she said she actually liked having them on they were "toasty and soft inside". Nothing worse than the boot breaks and putting them back into more for us! Great gear and could not be happier with EVO support they really helped me put her in the right ski this season and the boots are the best! Nice thing is it's not just a beginner ski, her skills can advance on this set and she will be able to use them a couple seasons with a simple adjustment.
