Rossignol Temptation 88 Skis + Tyrolia SP 100 Demo Bindings - Used - Women's 2012

The Rossignol Experience 88 Skis + Tyrolia SP 100 Demo Bindings: The Rossignol Experience 88 Skis are versatile and powerful all-mountain performers that carve like a race ski without giving up all-mountain versatility. AutoTurn Rocker combines a slightly rockered tip and tail with traditional camber underfoot to help create a ski equally at home floating through deep pow or laying trenches on groomers. On hardpack and variable snow the traditional camber delivers power, energy and edge grip while the rockered tip and tail dramatically improve turn initiation. Combined with an 88mm waist, the AutoTurn Rocker profile blasts through chop and crud, and floats through the silky deep. The Experience 88 is a true one-ski-quiver and sets the standard for women's high performance all-mountain skis.
Rocker Type
Auto Turn Rocker - A high camber underfoot with a low rocker in the tip and tail provides the best of both worlds. Camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge grip for groomed run performance, and subtle rocker in the tip and tail delivers easy steering and effortless speed control for versatility in any terrain or snow type.
Sidecut
Extended Sidecut - By continuing the sidecut beyond the contact point, as speeds and edge angles increase, more sidecut is engaged for powerful full-length edge grip. At lower speeds, the edge angles and sidecut engage slightly less for more maneuverability.
Shape
Cascade Tip - This specific tip construction involves stepping the end-points of the top two layers, one metal and the other fiberglass. This construction delivers better torsional control of the tip, for more effective grip and very high precision in turns.
Core
Wood / Basalt core
Laminates
Control Beam combined with Twin VAS absorbs vibrations and facilitates rebound by directing pressure to the extremities.
Sandwich Laminate - A wood core with metal and/or high tech laminates provides ultimate stability, power and durability while traditional sidewalls apply direct pressure to the edges for increased precision and edging power.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as will as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
  • Turning Radius: Short
  • Core/Laminates: Basalt, Wood
  • Tail Type: Partial Twin Tip
    Partial Twin Tip
Partial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.
