Rossignol S7 Skis + Axial 2 Speedset Bindings - Women's - Used 2013

The women’s Rossignol S7 Skis + Axial 2 Speedset Bindings employ the same game-changing technology as the award-winning men's version for the lady pounderhound. Hard charging experts and once-struggling intermediate skiers agree the S7 is amazing in its ability to make powder skiing easier and more fun. The S7's Powder Turn Rocker combines low camber underfoot with high tip and tail rocker. Powder Turn rocker provides amazing floatation, tracking and an efficient angle of attack that gives skiers effortless steering and instant speed control. The S7 delivers more maneuverability, easier steering and more forgiveness than any other powder ski on the market. Rossignol has created the perfect powder tool for ladies who have a fetish for skiing the deep and don't mind leaving their boyfriends behind. Note: This ski/binding package is used.
Rocker Type
Powder Turn Rocker - With 50% standard camber underfoot and 50% rocker in the tip and tail, this rocker profile offers tons of float in the deep stuff, while still retaining the edge control of traditional camber on hardpack.
Centered Sidecut - Featuring a unique tapering of tip and tail with short sidecut directly underfoot with a deep radius, this shape provides edge grip and power underfoot, while a shorter length of sidecut allows for easy steering and playfulness.
Poplar Wood Core - Poplar cores provide skis with a lightweight, lively ride that has excellent ski-to-snow feel and a damp feel.
Carbon weave - By weaving resilient carbon materials into the core, Rossignol achieves stability and dampness without adding weight.
Traditional sandwich construction with vertical sidewalls creates direct edging pressure while the core and linen fiber/fiberglass laminates provide flex and stability.
Additional Features
Note: This ski/binding package is used.
Spoon Tip - Tapered, spoon-shaped tip for maximum flotation and effortless tracking in deep snow
WRS (Weight Reduction System) - This patented fiberglass layup concentrates materials underfoot while reducing the density in the tip and tail for increased durability while shaving 400 grams off of a pair of skis.
Included Bindings
Din range of 3.5-12
Axial 2 Speedset Bindings - Angled lateral arms and a wider footprint provide better power transmission and a better connection to wider boards.
Bindings come mounted to skis but need to be adjusted for you and your ski boots. Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.

  • Terrain: Powder
These skis are for the deep days. If you like to find powder stashes at your local resort, go on backcountry missions for the freshest of fresh or heli ski trips to BC, powder skis are what you need to stay afloat. Skis in the powder category are wide and most often have some form of rocker or early rise plus a relatively soft flex. Many powder skis today are versatile enough to handle mixed conditions and harder snow.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as will as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Full Twin Tip
    Full Twin Tip
Desinged to allow you to ski backwards, full twin tips are found primarily on park & pipe skis and freestyle powder skis. More and more, we are seeing twin tips on all-mountain skis of all abilities, as it makes it a little easier to get around, and for the most part does not inhibit forward skiing.
