Rossignol Avenger 82 Basalt Skis + TPX/Axium 120 Bindings 2012: The Rossignol Avenger 82 Basalt Skis + TPX/Axium 120 Bindings is a versatile advanced all-mountain ski. Primarily designed for on piste, this ski is an aggressive charging ski with its All-Mountain tip for amazing edge contact, creating strong turn initiation and float in snow. The classic sandwich construction has a new layer of Basalt with titanium to remove vibration, and gives a solid damp feel without the added weight.
Shape
All-Mountain Tip: The tip extends ski’s sidecut beyond snow contact point. When on edge the side increases creating strong turn initiation and float in soft snow.
Aggressive Oversize Sidecut tip and tail dimensions give strong edging, power and precision. The wider waist dimensions increase stability and ease turn transitions. This combination gives accurate edge feel and unprecedented stability.
Construction
Sandwich Laminate Construction wood cores, vertical sidewalls, Basalt fibers, metal and high-tech laminates. Classic sidewalls create direct edging pressure while core and laminates provide flex, power, and stability.
Bindings
The Rossignol Avenger 82 Basalt Skis comes with the Rossignol Axium 120 Bindings. This easy to use, light-weight high-end binding has a reinforced Dual Action toepiece with a 180 multi-direction release, and a long lever arms make exiting the binding an effortless motion.
Included Bindings
Bindings do not come mounted to the skis. Always have a certified technician mount and adjust the bindings.
Core and Flex Pattern
New aerospace fiber layers replace traditionally used fiberglass layers. Titanium or aramid stringers are woven into Basalt fibers dramatically enhancing the skis performance. Ultimate material for removing vibrations and improving snow contact.

            Comments about Rossignol Avenger 82 Basalt Skis + TPX/Axium 120 Bindings 2012:

I purchased these for my husband who demo'd them last season. It is a great all-mountain ski for advanced intermediate-expert skier, Dad of teens looking to keep up and have fun on the mountain with them. Early start to the season at Stowe has provided all conditions and theses skis did not disappoint.
