Rossignol Attraxion 8 Skis + TPI Axial 120 Bindings - Women's - Used 2013

Rossignol Shop all Rossignol
For an expert level female skier, the Rossignol Attraxion 8 Skis + TPI Axial 120 Bindings are also on the frontier of environmentally conscious ski construction. The Attraxion 8 uses fewer petroleum products and lacquers for minimal effect on the environment and natural linen fibers to replace synthetic materials. This green-minded ski, however, is no slouch on the slopes. An Oversize Sidecut provides strong edge hold and stability on firm snowpack yet dances turn-to-turn. Women’s Tip Technology provides easy turn initiation while Power Turn Camber gives the ski excellent energy and snap. For the woman who thinks green while charging the black and blues, the Attraxion 8 won’t disappoint. Note: This is a used ski/snowboard package.
Rocker Type
Power Turn Rocker - A classic high camber underfoot delivers power and edge grip for groomed run performance while storing energy and providing explosive snap and boost. 10% subtle tip rocker facilitates quick turn initiation.
Oversized Sidecut - Provides strong edging, power and precision, while a wider waist dimension increases stability and ease of turn initiation
Wood Core
Traditional sandwich construction with vertical sidewalls creates direct edging pressure while the core and linen fiber/fiberglass laminates provide flex and stability.
Additional Features
Women’s Tip Technology - Lightweight for easy turn initiation and transition, this tip shape aids rolling the ski edge to edge.
Forward mounting position changes female’s stance on ski, making it lighter for better balance and control. Power ramp interface was engineered to raise the heel which enhances turn initiation.
Note: This ski/binding package is used.
Included Bindings
The TPI Axial 120 bindings offer exceptional power transmission while retaining optimal release capabilities. DIN range 3.5-12
Bindings come mounted to skis but need to be adjusted for you and your ski boots. Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Carving
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber
Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
