Nordica Fire Arrow 80 Skis + EXP 25 Demo Bindings - Used 2012

Nordica Shop all Nordica
Nordica has brought the fun back to the front side with the Nordica Fire Arrow 80 Skis + EXP 25 Demo Bindings. There have been a lot of exciting, technological advances in big-mountain and park & pipe skis over the last couple of years, but yet there are still a ton of skiers that enjoy ripping around on groomers and the front side. The Fire Arrow 80 is a combination of a modern on-piste sidecut shape paired with a versatile waist and a twin tip ski design. Nordica has designed a ski that has the capability to rip off a few park laps and come back strong for carving turns at speed on the groomed.
Rocker Type
Full Cam camROCK is designed with 100% traditional camber and contact points for stability at speed and energy transmission on packed snow.
Frontside Sidecut Shape is a new combination of a modern frontside sidecut shape with a versatile waist and twin tip ski design.
XBI CT Integrated Technology - XBI CT Integrated technology is a fully integrated system over the wood core of the ski to allow perfect transmission of skier movements from the boots all the way to the edge of the ski - delivering an amazing "glued to the snow" sensation. Integrated design and X-Balance engineering provide a perfectly round flex curve that allows the ski to perform with tip-to-tail edge hold, putting the whole ski in the user’s control. X-Balance technology redistributes pressure along the length of the ski automatically correcting for skier fore/aft balance errors.

  • Terrain: Carving
For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for skis offering skiers lots of edge hold, especially on harder snow. A cambered ski has a smooth arch underfoot and contact points near the tip and tail when unweighted. Camber skis excel at carving on hard snow; you won’t ever see a ski racer on anything other than cambered skis.
  • Turning Radius: Short
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Full Twin Tip
    Full Twin Tip
Desinged to allow you to ski backwards, full twin tips are found primarily on park & pipe skis and freestyle powder skis. More and more, we are seeing twin tips on all-mountain skis of all abilities, as it makes it a little easier to get around, and for the most part does not inhibit forward skiing.
