K2 SuperGlide Skis + Marker ERS 11.0 TC Bindings - Women's 2013

All-New! The K2 SuperGlide Skis with Marker ERS 11.0 TC Bindings have been developed for a range of skiers, splitting their time between being on and off-piste. The versatility of the SuperGlide derives from its All-Terrain Rocker™ profile and a lightweight yet responsive design, shuffled with an optimum waist width for a variety of conditions.
Shape
All-Terrain Rocker™ - Designed for all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.

Construction
BioFlex 2 Core - A combination of 70% dense Aspen core underfoot is fused with 30% lightweight Paulownia at the tip and tail to reduce swing weight with blended Bamboo throughout for strength and durability.

Triaxial Braiding - Consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, making the ski incredibly energetic and responsive.

Hybritech Sidewalls - A unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions that combine the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.
Dimensions
13m @ 160cm, 127/80/109 (all sizes)
Bindings
The K2 SuperGlide Skis come with the ERS 11.0 TC Bindings for an advanced skier. The lightweight Marker K2/ERS (Energy Response System) integrates through titanal hubs that are closer together from toe to heel to accommodate a smaller boot sole and maintain smooth flexing of the ski. The women’s-specific binding features a Triple-Pivot Comfort Toe and Twin Cam 2 Heel. The Marker K2/ERS system is a full pound lighter than the previous binding system.
Bindings do not come mounted to the skis. Always have a certified technician mount and adjust the bindings.
Additional Features
Lighter Weight Women’s-Specific Mod Technology - Places thickness and mass in the optimum location to absorb vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge hold, power, and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, leaving the overall ski flex unaffected.

Women’s Specific Mod Monic - A focused mass-dampener made of a solid zinc mass that focuses mass dampening at a targeted location on the Mod structure.

Included Bindings
Bindings do not come mounted to the skis. Always have a certified technician mount and adjust the bindings.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber
    Rocker/Camber
Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
  • Turning Radius: Short
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
    Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
