New to the women’s Factory Team lineup, the K2 Empress Skis is a high-value women’s park ski features Jib Rocker™ and a park specific flex for the ultimate in getting tricky with it. Built for the budding park skier, the Empress is lightweight, easy to turn and utilizes cap construction for added durability. This is paired with the Marker Free 10.0 Bindings, versatile, lightweight bindings that turn the Empress into the ultimate freestyle ski.
Jib Rocker™ – Featuring an elevated tip and tail, with zero camber underfoot, Jib Rocker offers the right amount of playfulness for butters and surface tricks, while at the same time providing enhanced pop for unmatched ollie power.
Park Flex Pattern – Softer at the nose and tail, while being stiffer underfoot, for added stability and pop
Directional Taper – A moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the ski’s performance in the forward direction - this means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.
BioFlex 2 Core – A combination of 70% dense Aspen core underfoot is fused with 30% lightweight Paulownia at the tip and tail to reduce swing weight, while blended bamboo throughout for strength and durability.
Triaxial Braiding – Consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, making the ski incredibly energetic and responsive
Cap Construction – A durable, lightweight, and softer construction
Swap Base – Ski bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted.
3.5 mm edges are thicker and far more resistant to cracking.
**Please note that base colors will alternate and may not arrive exactly as pictured.
Marker Free 10 Ski Bindings – The Marker 10 Free Ten ski bindings are lightweight and loaded with tech to keep you riding all day long without sacrificing durability or quality.
Bindings Do Not Come Mounted to Skis – Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.
Tip/Tail Hardware – Rivets for durability
