The Head Peak 90 Skis + Tyrolia Sympro 120 Demo Bindings are a fantastic choice for advanced all-mountain skiers that like to ski a wide variety of terrain on the mountain. The Peak 90s will be just as happy skiing open bowls and trees as they will be ripping groomers if there is no fresh snow. Traditional camber underfoot means you will always have strong edging and control. However, Flow Ride Tech replaces some wood in the tip with an elastomer material, softening the tip when pressured for easier turning in powder snow, for example.

Rocker Type
Flow Ride Technology – A small section of the core at the tip of the ski is milled out, and reinforced with an elastomer material. This softens the tip for easier turning at slower speeds and in powder snow, but is still stable at higher speeds because the effective edge length has not changed.

Head Intelligence™ Technology – Features Intellifibers positioned at 45 degrees in front of the binding to transform mechanical impulses into electrical energy, increases the ski’s torsional stiffness, pushing the edge into the snow in hard turns.

Carving For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
