All mountain versatility is the name of the game with the Head i.Peak 84 Skis + PRD 12 Bindings package. Because skiing perfectly groomed runs or pristine pow isn't always an option, Head created the i.Peak series. Built for skiing fast through a variety of terrain, the i.Peak 84 has spectacular edge hold and power on hard snow, but as soon as some floatation is required, Flow Ride Technology in the tip of the ski comes into play. As always, Head skis come with ultra-high quality bases and durable sandwich construction.

Rocker Type
Flow Ride Technology – A small section of the core at the tip of the ski is milled out, and reinforced with an elastomer material. This softens the tip for easier turning at slower speeds and in powder snow, but is still stable at higher speeds because the effective edge length has not changed.

Head Intelligence™ Technology – Features Intellifibers positioned at 45 degrees in front of the binding to transform mechanical impulses into electrical energy, increases the ski’s torsional stiffness, pushing the edge into the snow in hard turns.

Carving For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
