The Fischer Koa 73 Skis + V9 My Style Bindings are a smooth and forgiving ski/binding package that will have you up and progressing faster than you can say "pizza." Or faster than you can have a pizza delivered, at least. Load up with this easy turning package and you'll be bangin' off turns with the best of 'em in no time.
Rocker Type
All Mountain Rocker - A rockered alpine shovel ensures balanced and continuous turn initiation and excellent ski versatility on both groomed slopes and in powder.
Core
Air Power - A ski core with less density and reduced ski weight means easier handling and less tiring skiing.
Included Bindings
V9 My Style Bindings
Full Diagonal - The 180˚ release reacts in almost all directions to protect ligaments and tendons, particularly in the knee.
ABS - Virtually frictionless release of the ski boot from the binding guarantees the highest possible level of safety.
Bindings do not come mounted to the skis. Always have a certified technician mount and adjust the bindings.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
    Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for skis offering skiers lots of edge hold, especially on harder snow. A cambered ski has a smooth arch underfoot and contact points near the tip and tail when unweighted. Camber skis excel at carving on hard snow; you won’t ever see a ski racer on anything other than cambered skis.
  • Turning Radius: Short
  • Tail Type: Flat
    Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
