Dynastar Reveal Skis + Xpress 10 Demo Bindings - Women's 2013

Dynastar Exclusive Reveal Skis + Xpress 10 Bindings are high-performance tools for progressing skiers on and off trail. The Exclusive Balance System employs a specific stance that works with a woman’s unique physiology and biomechanics for more ease-of-use, control and fun. Featuring Exclusive Rocker profile, the Exclusive Reveal Skis deliver more playfulness, versatility and maneuverability for every type of terrain.
Rocker Type
Exclusive Rocker - This combines varying heights of tip and tail rocker with camber underfoot for enhanced performance and less fatigue in all snow conditions. You get effortless flotation, easier turning and increased control off-trail and easy turn initiation, confident stability and full-length edge grip on-trail.
Sidecut
Exclusive Balance System - Stance and sidecut are moved forward increasing control. Raised heel provides better balance and allows easier turn initiation, 25% lighter ski reduces fatigue and increases efficiency. It also provides more control and better balance by working with a woman’s anatomy.
Core
3D Wood Core Construction - Thicker core profile at edges provides powerful grip and energy transmission. Milled center reduces weight improving versatility and control.
Laminates
Sandwich Laminate Construction - Wood cores with high tech fiberglass provide enormous fluidity and responsiveness without using heavy Titanal layers.
Sidewalls
Autodrive - This features a blend of vertical sidewall and cap constructions for superior edge hold combined with comfortable turn transitions. Vertical sidewalls underfoot provide increased power and edge grip. Cap construction toward tip and tail allows less aggressive turn entry and exit.
Included Bindings
Xpress 10 Demo Bindings - DIN 3-10
Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as will as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
  • Turning Radius: Short
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Partial Twin Tip
    Partial Twin Tip
Partial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.
