Dynastar Outland 80 XT Skis + NX 12 Fluid Bindings 2013

On or off-piste, the Dynastar Outland 80 XT Skis + NX 12 Fluid Bindings are a high power ski and binding setup that can take on the entire mountain and then some. These feature All-Mountain Rocker, 3D wood core construction and Basalt laminate, making these durable and versatile skis. The Outland 80 XT is designed to give you easier turn initiation, vibration-free stability and full-length edge grip on the hard packed, or you can cross over into softer snow, trusting in the All-Mountain Rocker and 80 mm waist to help you float through untouched powder. If you're a one quiver skier, then make sure you ride the Dynastar Outland 80 XT Skis + NX 12 Fluid Bindings this year.
Rocker Type
All Mountain Rocker - This rocker has a very progressive in the tip, with limited length and height, and even less pronounced in the tail. This ski pivots more easily by retaining all its grip and carving performance. The rocker also improves tip flotation on varied terrain and powder making it a decisive plus for all-mountain skiing.
Core
3D Wood Core Construction - Thicker core profile at edges provides powerful grip and energy transmission. Milled center reduces weight improving versatility and control.
Laminates
Basalt laminate
Included Bindings
NX 12 Fluid Ski Bindings - This is a high-end lightweight integrated binding. The reinforced Full Drive toepiece has 180 multi-directional release with high vertical and lateral elastic travel to provide shock absorption, reducing inadvertent release. The NX heel is light and with an easy release. Brake width 80-90 mm
Bindings do not come mounted to skis - Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.

Comments about Dynastar Outland 80 XT Skis + NX 12 Fluid Bindings 2013:

These have become my go-to skis for all but the deeper pow days. They absolutely fly on hardpack and I can't believe the edge response and snappy transitions when I lean them over.
The tips look kinda wussy and low but the rocker profile lifts the whole ski up through crud tackles everything. Flotation is pretty good. They like quick turns.
I'm 5'10" and 165lbs. If you are pushing the 185 mark you might find these a bit soft but at my weight they have no problem springing back under the most aggressive turns, in bumps, you name it.
The only downside, they do feel heavy for a metal free ski but they don't chatter or vibrate at all.
Love 'Em!
