Dynastar Exclusive Sensation Skis + Nova 9 Demo Bindings - Used - Women's 2010

Dynastar Shop all Dynastar
Dynastar Exclusive Sensation Skis + Nova 9 Demo Bindings were developed to be easy to ski and very predictable. The Dynastar Exclusive Sensation Skis have a shape that allows the tail to release at any point of the turn so the ski is always in control. This allows the skier to skid the turn and control speed or turn shape. The Fluid binding system gives the ski a nice flex pattern for smooth skiing.
The Dynastar Exclusive Sensation Skis are fairly soft to allow plenty of forgiveness in turns and bumps. It has a tight turning radius so once the ski is put on edge it will do the rest of the work for you.
The core is made of a composite material that allows the ski to flex evenly for a soft forgiving feel.
The ski has an isospeed base which will absorb wax easily and rip down the hill quickly. The Exclusive Balance System mounts the bindings more forward and lifts the heel piece to give you plenty of forward lean and balance.

  • Terrain: Carving
For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for skis offering skiers lots of edge hold, especially on harder snow. A cambered ski has a smooth arch underfoot and contact points near the tip and tail when unweighted. Camber skis excel at carving on hard snow; you won’t ever see a ski racer on anything other than cambered skis.
  • Turning Radius: Short
  • Core/Laminates: Composite
  • Tail Type: Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
