Blizzard Bonafide Skis + Marker Jester Demo Bindings - Used 2012

Intended for rippers who crush it in all conditions, the Blizzard Bonafide Skis + Marker Jester Demo Bindings are the definition of user friendly technology meant to destroy user hostile mountains. The Sandwich Compound Sidewall Titanium construction allows for better energy transmission, increased impact strength, and increased torsional stiffness. Combined with Blizzard's revolutionary Flipcore, the Blizzard Bonafide Skis are just the snow stompers charging all-mountain skiers have been searching for.
Rocker Type
Rocker / Camber / Rocker - The Blizzard Bonafide Skis have tip & tail rocker, with slight camber underfoot. This allows the skis to float up in powder and crud. Rocker helps you to stay on top of the snow while maintaining an easy to handle and pivot feel.
Core
Flipcore - The Blizzard Bonafide Skis have a light wood core with Flipcore technology which is the first real natural rocker design in the history of ski production. The secret of this new technology is unbelievably simple: Blizzard just flipped the wood core upside down.
Laminates
Titanal Laminates - 2 Titanial laminates running the length of the ski give the Blizzard Bonafide Skis stability and power.
Sidewalls
Full Sidewall - The Sandwich Compound Sidewall Titanium construction is comprised of a CNC 3D-Woodcore with Titanal layers, Laminate Reinforcement, Phenol Sidewall, and a strong Graphite base. These combine to create constant edge pressure over the entire length of the ski, giving you dynamic force distribution from edge to edge. Direct handling and impact resistance are unmatched, while the stable edge grip and intense carving performance give you perfect control.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Powder
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
    Powder
These skis are for the deep days. If you like to find powder stashes at your local resort, go on backcountry missions for the freshest of fresh or heli ski trips to BC, powder skis are what you need to stay afloat. Skis in the powder category are wide and most often have some form of rocker or early rise plus a relatively soft flex. Many powder skis today are versatile enough to handle mixed conditions and harder snow.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as will as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
  • Turning Radius: Medium
  • Core/Laminates: Metal, Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
    Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.
