With a perfect flex, and Step Down Sidewall construction for powerful edgehold, the Storm is forgiving enough for athletic intermediates and strong enough for advanced, powerful skiers alike. With an 84 mm waist, the Affinity Storm is perfect for exploring the mountain and floating in soft snow, but narrow enough to be easy going on the groomed. The All Mountain Rocker profile makes for effortless turn initiation both on and off-piste. The Storm is here to help you explore and experience with confidence.

All Mountain Rocker – This ski profile is composed of 15% rocker in the tip and 85% camber throughout the rest of the ski. This provides excellent performance and control on all snow conditions and any terrain.

These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

Rocker/Camber Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
