One of the best things about this shoe is the option of wearing it barefoot - and as someone whose feet sweat like crazy, often times wearing shoes barefoot lead to unimaginable levels of stink. Not with Natives! When you wear these shoes, even if I sweat because of its built-in anti-microbial properties, it doesn't smell and the sweat simply evaporates away or doesn't bother me too much.

Another is its extremely light weight. For me, the shoes are around 6 oz... this is amazing even when compared to other "lightweight" running shoes, where the weight varies from 10 to 12 oz, and compared to Vans, around 14 oz. Believe me, you will feel the lightness when you first wear it - try comparing it to your "conventional" shoes.

Lastly (this is beginning to sound like an essay) it is very simple to clean. All you have to do is just take it with you to the shower/sink and simply just brush the dirt away. The shoe dries extremely quickly, and since it's one-piece foam shoe, there's no worry of weakening the internal shoe glue and losing durability. It retains its color very well.

The only problem? It may or may not be too durable for your tastes. This is my second pair - my first broke (the heel cup ripped) after 6 months of daily use. You will get heel drag easily.
