Product Info

Wet Pacific Northwest days have a knack for soaking typically adequate gear through and through. Flylow refuses to accept this as an inevitability, which is why they designed the Flylow Baker Bibs. A 3-layer garment, this bib offers 20k/20k waterproofing and breathability, finished off with a high-performance DWR finish. Cordura knee and cuff reinforcements, fully taped seams, waterproof zippers, and a powder skirt ensure that nothing will dampen your day. For those who need to stay in touch on the slopes, this bib comes with a Kangaroo chest pouch, perfect for stashing a radio or phone. No matter how you take on the mountain, the Baker Bibs will keep you swanky and stoked during your conquests.

Face Fabric

3-Layer Nylon Dobby Intuitive™ FabricFlylow created their proprietary Intuitive™ fabric in order to choose the perfect face fabric, membrane and backing for each individual line of apparel they make. Flylow chooses from nylons and polyester face fabrics, then pairs them with high-performing DWR and 20k/20k membranes to maximize the performance of every product.

High Performance DWR (Durable Water Repellent) FinishAll of Flylow's exterior shells and midlayers are treated with a DWR coating, which stops precipitation from soaking into the fibers of a product's face fabric, aiding in quick fabric dry times and helping you stay dry and warm in storms. All of Flylow's technical garments will retain 80% water repellency after 20 washes.

1,000 Denier Cordura Knee and Cuff ReinforcementsThis tough canvas-like cloth fabric, which is often used as pack cloth in the military, adds durability, abrasion-resistance, and hardiness to the cuffs of Flylow pants. High-grade Cordura means you'll have to try harder to cut up the bottom of your pants with your ski edges (good luck with that).

    Comments about Flylow Baker Bibs:

I'm 5'11", 175 lbs and the Large fits me perfectly -- bare in mind I like my stuff to fit loose, but not excessively baggy. The articulation on these is incredibly well thought out, from the slightly pre-curved knees, to the stretchy back panel that doesn't restrict you at all, even when hunched over or bending down to adjust boots/bindings. Reinforcement on the knees and cuffs ensures long-term durability and the hip pocket placement is perfect (still easily accessible without having to hike up your jacket). The stretchy chest (bib) pocket for a beacon/phone/ipod is great, but it would be nice if it was zippered. Also, the leg vents are not mesh-lined which is better for dumping excess heat when touring or hiking. Overall, awesome pants that are definitely fit for the gnarliest days at Baker.
