Product Info

Less is more when it comes to the Burton Southside Pants. These pants meet all the requirements of a first rate shred pant, without all the unnecessary tech. A shoe lace draw cord gives you a skate-inspired look that functions by keeping your pants up, or letting them sag. Besides the pockets, that's about all the extra features you get. When it comes to shredding, you really don't need anything else.

Product Details

Face Fabric

DRYRIDE Durashell™ 2-Layer Oxford FabricThe DRYRIDE Durashell™ 2-layer fabric features technical weatherproofing and breathable properties in a buttery soft yet bomber package

Lining Material

Mapped with Mesh Lining100% polyester mesh lining is key to a 2-layer product's ability to breathe and wick away heat-robbing moisture. It also protects the coating to ensure waterproofing and breathability that lasts.

Taffeta LiningTaffeta offers a crisp, high-end feel that is often woven using a mix of synthetic fibers. Its unique hand feel and sheen make it ideal for printing and embossing, and like all Burton linings it wicks and breathes easy to keep you dry from the inside out.

Fit

Mid FitBridging the gap between the classic Sig Fit and street influenced Slim Fit, Mid Fit is the best of both worlds. With a slightly longer inseam, the silhouette is narrower from hip to cuff with slight tailoring at the knee for proper articulation and rider-friendly function.

Pockets

Zipper side and back pockets

Vents

Crossflow Venting™ Thigh VentsQuickly and easily open and close your thigh vents without the annoyance of having your zipper get caught in the mesh.

Features

Fully Taped SeamsEvery seam in the pant is taped to create the ultimate foul weather seal.

Anti-Scuff CuffsCuffs are reinforced with durable oxford fabric and contoured shaping for increased abrasion resistance.

Set and Forget Ghetto SlitsCustomize your style and your sag with this evolution to Burton's zippered pant cuffs. Set how much you want the bottom hem to open when riding without having it sneak open all the way.

Shoelace Waist AdjustmentThe shoelace adjustment at the beltline acts as a belt for an easy, customizable fit and a street-inspired look.

        Comments about Burton Southside Pants:

Solid pants, wanted something thinner that was still waterproof for spring sessions in Tahoe and these do the trick. Definitely recommended.

        Comments about Burton Southside Pants:

I'm 24, 5'10" tall and about 215lbs. Obviously not really skinny but I'm not that big of a guy. I liked the style of the pants that first caught my eye and they seemed like a great "bang for buck" choice. I failed to read the different styles from Burton (Sig, Mid, Skinny) which these ended up being the mid. Definitely could not fit my legs in them.. it wasn't that the waist was too small but where it fit in the thighs. Since my last pair of Burton pants were nice and loose and I could move, these were super constricting. I would say just make sure that you check the style of pants and know if you have larger legs that you might want to try on a pair first. Other then that the quality and style seem great.

          Comments about Burton Southside Pants:

For the price point, these pants are sick. Easy to open pocket zippers, vents, and thin material make the pants extremely breathable. As an east coast snowboarder, exactly what I needed.

So far I have not used these in super cold weather but on a 30 degree day I could feel that it wouldn't be best for those 0 degree days and I usually run hot.. Besides that this is a great pant.
