Microgrid Backer – This technology improves garment comfort and performance using an innovative patent pending internal backer fabric. The microgrid backer improves internal abrasion and snag resistance, allowing the jacket to easily slide over layers, while enhancing garment breathability and decreasing garment weight.

100% Seam Sealed with 13 mm GORE-SEAM tape – Waterproof fabric will not keep your dry by itself. In order to complete the waterproofing of a garment, the seams with stitching must be sealed with a waterproof tape.

RECCO Avalanche Rescue System – RECCO® is an avalanche rescue system utilized worldwide to facilitate the rapid location of burials. The two parts - reflector and detector - enable rapid pinpointing using harmonic radar, but are NOT a substitute for transceiver use. Complementary in function, the RECCO® system increases the chance of being found in time.

Pant-To-Jacket Snap Interface – Armada's jacket-to-pant snap interface provides a simple connection between your jacket's powder skirt and your pant.

Schoeller® Keprotec® Cuff Reinforcement – Armada's pant cuffs are reinforced with Schoeller Keprotec fabric. This protective fabric was originally developed for motorcycle racing and uses high-tensile fibers such as Kevlar® to ensure the highest durability.
