Face Fabric

H2No® Performance Standard 2.5 Layer Nylon Shell2.5-Layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are waterproof, windproof, breathable and highly packable. They combine a water-repellent shell fabric with a waterproof barrier and a raised pattern on the inside, instead of the interior scrim used in 3-layer fabrics. The raised pattern makes 2.5-layer fabric light and compressible, while still protecting the waterproof barrier.

Deluge® DWRPatagonia’s proprietary durable water repellent fabric finish, Deluge DWR, lasts substantially longer than standard DWRs. Garments with the Deluge® DWR finish have like-new repellency after years of extensive use.

Comments about Patagonia Troposphere Jacket - Women's:

I started a new job in DC and am a bike commuter whenever the weather allows it (if there's severe rain or snow, I'll obviously opt for the metro or bus). This jacket is perfect because it keeps me warm and still allows movement for when I bike. In the past, I've bundled up on heavy jackets and it was hard to bike. I don't think the jacket alone would be sufficient enough for the winter weather, but it is absolutely perfect layered on top of my Patagonia fleece. The velcro straps at the end of the sleeves are something I didn't realize I even needed! Tightening them keeps any oncoming wind or cold from flying into the jacket. This jacket has made my walks to the metro and bus a much better experience because I'm not freezing. It's a great jacket for all types of weather and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants something reliable and stylish.

Comments about Patagonia Troposphere Jacket - Women's:

I lost this jacket in an airport and had to replace it immediately. Love it. It's a bit roomy which makes it great for layering. It's also a little longer than regular rain jackets and has 3 pockets which I find is just enough. It's a great everyday jacket when it's raining or otherwise. I get a lot of compliments and friends have said they're looking into getting one as well.
